the task
Get2Gear provides engineering, equipment supply and contamination control of industrial oils for mining, oil and gas and EPC projects in Kazakhstan and the CIS. The company needed a serious presence online and videos that explain complex engineering so that both a chief mechanic and a procurement manager get it.
what we did
- The get2gear.com website in three languages: home, three service lines, a video library, news
- A CMS for the client: their editor updates copy in all three languages, with a release queue and backups
- A series of seven one-minute films: the company, the physics of contamination, tank protection, filtration, a mining example, the economics of maintenance, industry solutions
- Every film in three versions: Russian, English and an exhibition cut with music and titles, no narrator
- A recurring cast of synthetic characters: an engineer, a technician and a client representative
The film series
Seven one-minute films. Short silent excerpts here; the full versions are on get2gear.com.
The get2gear.com website
Strict industrial design, three languages, built for phones as well.

process & making-of
- 01
Second-by-second scripts
Every film was scripted to the second together with the narration and approved by the client before any image.
- 02
Style bible
One documentary language for the whole series: brand yellow and black, steel, the amber of oil.
- 03
Storyboard
104 storyboard frames and review rounds in a spreadsheet — the client saw every shot before production.
- 04
Key frames
Two passes: scene anchors first, then dependent shots, with contact sheets at every review.
- 05
Animation and graphics
Video in Seedance and Wan; engineering diagrams and titles as motion graphics in HyperFrames.
- 06
Sound, languages, delivery
Russian and English narration, music, exhibition cuts. Every client note closed, files delivered with checksums.
