State Institution Department of Construction of Semey, Abai Region · 2023–2024
A multi-level educational complex measuring approximately 98 × 96 m: four functional blocks, a shared school centre, assembly and sports halls, an accessible environment and complete landscaping.
In 2024, the four-block AI Semey Secondary School-Lyceum No. 50 was completed and commissioned for 1,200 students with its internal and external infrastructure ready for operation.
Start a projectThe school is designed as one composition of varying-height volumes around a shared school centre. The U-shaped building is separated by movement joints into four blocks, with a first-type fire wall between Blocks 1 and 2.
The left wing serves middle and senior grades, the central section contains shared school spaces and the right wing houses preschool and primary grades. Separate entrances reduce overlap between age groups.
Structural and engineering decisions account for sanitary standards, energy efficiency, classroom daylight and evacuation requirements. Step-free access is provided to all teaching and administration areas.
